Op-Ed: Denying trans youth gender-affirming care is an affront to science and medical ethics

An op-ed on the scientific misinformation that is harming teens, families, and medical providers and undermining the integrity of law. Biased political actors, including the Texas Attorney General and some Alabama legislators, have repeated junk science to justify bans on gender-affirming care for youth. The result is biased “science” and biased law.
